Waly Malik Faye, 16 of Raleigh left his earthly home on Thursday, February 4, 2021 and is now our angel.
Waly, was born May 4, 2004 at Rex Hospital and grew up in Raleigh attending the Public Schools of Wake County. He was currently attending Sanderson High School and enjoying a full life.
Along with his many activities, he loved working after school as a crew member at McDonalds. Waly loved to run track and spend time playing his keyboard. He looked forward to family vacations, especially Thanksgiving at Myrtle Beach.
Waly was predeceased by his grandmother, Fatou Sene.
Waly leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Daouda Faye & Anteia Spence, his closely knit sisters, Alexia Davis, Marie Faye and Zaina Faye; grandparents, Bishop & Elder William A. Davis, Grandfather Papa Waly Faye; Aunts& Uncles, Coumba Diagne, Soma Diagne, Oumy Diagne, Thiongou Diagne, Sheena Hyder, Jeffery Davis (Tiffany), Eric Davis (Kathi), Terrance Walker, William Davis, II (Kendra); a myriad of extended family from Dakar Senegal, Africa to Walkertown Community, Burgaw, NC.
Public Viewing: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Lea Funeral Home.
A private celebration of his life will take place with his immediate family.
Funeral Service: 12:00 PM, Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Lea Funeral Home Chapel, 2500 Poole Road, Raleigh, NC.
Visitation: 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM, preceding the funeral service at the chapel.
Interment: IAR Cemetery, 6711 Hankinson Road, Wendell, NC.
