Interment:  Pleasant Union Christian Church Cemetery, Raleigh, NC.

Survivors: Husband, Ray Powell of the home; Daughter,  Vermecha Pulley (Kory) of Raleigh, NC; Stepdaughter, Kia Williams of DE; Mother, Lizzie Rogers; Sisters, Angela Dunn (Timothy), Sara Rogers; Brother, John D. Rogers, Jr, all of Raleigh, NC; 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.
