Tula Fairley

Tula Mae Fairley (Scott), born on September 8, 1958, in Florence, Alabama, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025, in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was 66 years old.

Tula’s life was marked by deep devotion to her family and a legacy of love that will continue through the generations she helped shape. She is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Fairley; her children/step: Travis Tolbert, Bianca Hansard-Carl, LaShawn McLamb, Charity Keith. Tula was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren: Shea Pennington, Hailey Hansard, Gabriella Hansard, Phoebe Hansard, Santi Keith, Sean Keith, Vanessa Mclamb, Niko Mclamb, and Allana Mclamb. Her joy extended even further with the arrival of five great-grandchildren who brought light into her later years.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vera Scott; her sister, Granda Shriver; and her daughter, Kalina Bading. Their memories remained close to Tula’s heart throughout her life.

Tula's journey from Florence to Raleigh was filled with adventures, friendships and love. Her compassionate spirit left an indelible mark on those who knew and loved her.   May her memory bring comfort to the ache of her absence.
