Shepherd Mother Luagussie V. Dandy of Durham, NC departed this life on Sunday, May 22, 2022.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Apostle Clarence L. Dandy; her daughters, Jackie Dandy, Karlette Dandy-Brewster, both of Durham, NC, Cynthia Wise of Rocky Mount, NC, Gail Dandy of Los Angeles, CA and Linda Dandy of St. Petersburg, FL; her sons, Louis (Linda) Dandy of Ahoskie, NC and Anthony "Tony" (Rhoda) Dandy of San Bernadino, Ca; her sisters, Apostle Olivia D. Sharp of Portsmouth, Va and Dorothy Jenkins of Philadelphia, Pa; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and church family.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Pastor Anthony M. Dandy and Clarence Dandy, Jr., one brother, seven sisters, and four grandchildren.
Note: To honor the wishes of Shepherd Mother Luagussie Dandy, there will be no viewing. Due to the increase in COVID numbers, the family has chosen to cancel the Celebration of Life Service. A Memorial event will be scheduled in her honor at a later time (date and time to be announced) .
