Public Viewing: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Lea Funeral Home, 2500 Poole Road, Raleigh, NC.
Funeral Service: 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the Lea Funeral Home Chapel, 2500 Poole Road, Raleigh, NC.
Visitation: 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM, preceding the service at the Chapel.
Interment: Carolina Biblical Gardens, Garner, NC.
Reverend Willie E. Walters leaves to cherish his memory: His wife, Mary Arnold Walters of the home, two sons: Martin S. Walters (Stephanie) and Marvin A. Walters (Jennifer), both of Raleigh, NC. Two daughters: Mary W. Littlejohn of Wendell, NC, and April S. Walters (Bryon)of Raleigh, NC. Four grandchildren: Anjelica S. Littlejohn of Jamestown, NC; Paula D. Littlejohn of Wendell, NC; Olivia S. Walters and Miles C. Walters of Raleigh, NC. Two sisters: Janice W. Waden (Carl) of Durham, NC, and Sharlene W. Dunn of Wake Forest, NC. Sister-in-law: Deborah Mangum of Raleigh, NC and Brother-in-law: John Arnold Jr. (Germaine) of Virginia . A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Reverend Willie E. Walters lived a life of purpose, marked by faith, service, family, and love. Many members have shared that he did not treat them as members but family. His legacy of kindness, leadership, and generosity will live on in all who knew and loved him.
