Philip Anthony Lindo peacefully walked into the arms of his Lord and Savior on April 29, 2025. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Philip was a man of faith who had a vibrant personality and unwavering devotion to his family.
Philip was a loving husband to his beloved wife, Joy, of 53 years. He was a proud father to his three daughters, Lisa-Ann, Stacey, and Simone. He affectionately called the family “The Fab 5.” Philip was also a doting grandfather to his four grandsons, Sean, Adrian, Samuel, and Solomon, and a caring father-in-law to Chukwuma, Robert, and Preston. He is also survived by his sister Audrey, nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of cherished friends and family.
Philip was preceded in death by his loving parents, Harold Lindo (Father), and Lawrence and Helen Marrett (Mother), whom he honored and cherished throughout his life.
Philip was known for his larger-than-life presence, his cooking, his love for music, a good game of dominoes, and his deep pride in his Jamaican culture. He had a lifelong passion for both cricket and golf, sports that brought him joy, focus, and connection. Whether cheering on a cricket match or spending a relaxing day watching Tiger Woods, Philip found happiness in the game and loved sharing it with others.
Though his physical presence will be deeply missed, his legacy of love, laughter, fun, and faith lives on in all of us.
Celebration of Life: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 14, 2025, at VFW Post 2550 Dunedin, FL 34698
