Merritt (Siobhan) of Garner, and Thomas A. Merritt of Raleigh, NC; Sisters, Fannie B. Featherstone of College Park, MD; Brothers, William Smith of Raleigh, NC, Ronald Buchanan of Winston Salem, NC, and Gregory Buchanan of Danville VA; 13 Grandchildren; 33 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great Great Grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
