Survivors: Daughter, Maria Green of Raleigh, NC; Brother, Jessie Whaley of New York; Nephews, James Carter Jr and Jerry Green Jr, Cousin, Glady Houston, Friends, Mary Smith, Jean Gray and Beverly Grant, a host of nieces, nephews and relatives.
