Memorial Service: 12:00 PM, Monday, August 14, 2023 at Miracle Deliverance Church, 1416 Bridgepoint Road, Greensboro, NC.

Survivors: Wife, Luberta Akins of the home; Daughter, Winona Harris of Liberty, NC; Sons, Michael T. Akins, Jr of Clayton, NC and Vincent M. Williams of Elizabeth City, NC; Sisters, Mary Wilkins (Clinton), Clarissa Akins, both of Boston, MA and Heather Crowder (Howard) of Roanoke, VA; Brothers, Kenneth Wayne Akins of Oklahoma City, OK, Larry Akins of Boston, MA, and Jerome Thomas of Roanoke, VA; 10 Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives & friends.
