Meldon Brooks Newton, Sr, of Greenville, NC departed this life on Monday, December 24, 2018.

Memorial Service: 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Lea Funeral Home Chapel, 2500 Poole Road, Raleigh, NC.

Survivors: Daughter, Zylphia Clotil Newton; Sons, Meldon Brooks Newton, Jr and Bruce Eric Newton, all of Raleigh, NC; Grandson, Meldon Brooks Newton, III of Suffolk, VA.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the DAV, Disabled American Veterans.
