Visitation: 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM, preceding the funeral service at the chapel.

Interment: Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh, NC.

Survivors: Son, Meldon B. Newton, III of VA; Mother, Mary Moore Newton; Sister, Zylphia C. Newton, and Brother, Bruce Eric Newton, all of Raleigh, NC.
