Funeral Service:  12:00 PM, Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Lea Funeral Home Chapel, 2500 Poole Road, Raleigh, NC.

Visitation:  11:30 AM - 12:00 PM, preceding the service in the chapel .  

Interment:  Mt. Hope Cemetery, 120 Prospect Avenue, Raleigh, NC. 

Survivors:  Parents, Mother: Betty Lou Cox, Bonus Mother: Priscilla M. Rainey, Bonus Father: Charles Young; Children: Kevin Cox, Amber Cox, Kensley Gist (Nikita), and Tyshawn Cox; Sisters: Tanyon Rainey and Sabrina Rainey; Grandchildren: Messiah, Ariyah, Major, Malaki, Alayah, Evan, Jaleek, Ana'Leigh, and Atlas.
