Funeral Service:  11:00 AM, Friday, January 4, 2019 at Upper Room Church of God in Christ, 3300 Idlewood Village Drive, Raleigh, NC.

Visitation:  10:30 AM - 11:00 AM, preceding the funeral service at the church.

Interment:  Hawkins Family Cemetery, 1607 Drapers Road, Enfield, NC.

Survivors:  Wife, Elouise Hawkins Smith of the home; Daughters, April R. Smith and Rebecca Smith Foster,  both of Garner, NC, Sarah Smith-Ruiz and Phyllis J. Williams, both of Raleigh, NC; Sons, Reginald Badgett of Garner, NC, Steven L. Smith of Raleigh, NC, and Thomas C. Smith of Wake Forest, NC; Children, Mitzi Fulton of Clayton, NC, Priscilla Kennedy of Durham, NC and James Kennedy of Plano, TX; Sister, Linda Faye Thorpe of Piscataway, NJ; 27 Grandchildren; 19 Great-Grandchildren.
