Kenneth was a loyal friend, husband, father, and a decorated military veteran, having received the Bronze Star medal for distinguished and outstanding meritorious service in connection with actions taken during military ground operations against hostile forces in the Republic of Vietnam.  Kenneth was also awarded the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm Unit Citation, and the Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars.
