Josephine Divine

It is with heavy hearts that the Luke, Dundas, Butcher, Roberts, Morris, Talhouk, and Cisco families announce the passing of Josephine Aleda Luke on July 26th, 2024 in Zebulon, North Carolina. 

Aleda was predeceased by her parents, Maria Tunde Dundas Cisco and Cecil “Buster” L. Luke, her sister Karin Nana Cisco Ifill, and her brother Warren Luke.

Her spirit lives on through her only daughter, Sidney Aleda Morris; Her sisters: Gloria Nux Talhouk (and George), Danlette Jane Cisco, Lees Howard (and Josef), Marilyn Luke Urey (and Henrique), Fatima Nini Greaves (and Zizi), Vermon Luke, Norma Jane Cisco, Windy Cisco Nagbe (and Patrick), Ginger Mobley, Cynthia Vincent (and Vanjay), Wanda Jones, and Maayon Metzger Clements; Her brothers: Charles Luke (and Angela), Daniel Olu Cisco, Sheldon Luke (and Yeye), Thomas Jallah (and Brenda). She is mourned by numerous beloved cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Wake:  6:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Friday, August 16, 2024 at Malaby's Crossroads Baptist Church.

Funeral Service:  10:00 AM, Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Malaby's Crossroads Baptist Church, 911 Old Knight Road, Knightdale,NC.

Visitation:  9:00 AM - 10:00 AM, preceding the funeral service at the church.

Interment:  Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh, NC.
