Public Viewing:  12:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Lea Funeral Home Chapel, 2500 Poole Road, Raleigh, NC.

Funeral Service:  1:00 PM, Monday, April 24, 2023 at First Cosmopolitan Baptist Church, 1515 Cross Link Rd., Raleigh, NC.

Visitation:  12:00 PM - 1:00 PM, preceding the funeral service at the church.

Interment:  Carolina Biblical Gardens, Garner, NC.

Survivors:  Wife, Marilyn Merritt-Brown of the home; Children,  Sabrina Brown of Garner, Bedri Brown of Durham, NC,  DeCarla Brown-Scott of New Jersey, Jamieson Brown of TX, and Tamitha Brown of  Raleigh, NC; Siblings, Bishop Melvin G. Brown (Pastor of Greater New Hope Baptist Church) of Washington, DC, Geneva Elliott, Geraldine Whitfield, both of Norfolk, VA, George Brown of Anchorage, AK, Harrison Brown of Suffolk, VA, Augusta Brown of Hampton, VA and Rosa Brown (deceased) and a host of grandchildren, nieces, & nephews.
