Izell Newby of Benson, NC departed this life on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Lea Funeral Home Chapel, 2500 Poole Road, Raleigh, NC.

Survivors: Wife, Yolanda Hicks Newby, of the home; Daughter, Jacqueline; Sons, LaMarcus and Rodney (Tonya) all of Raleigh, NC; Sisters,Teresa N. Gethers, of NY, and Gail C. Ford of Raleigh, NC; Brothers, Anthony Chrisp ( Laura) and Bravette Chrisp (Katie) of Raleigh, NC.; Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
