Garry L. Williams was born on May 30, 1955, in Rich Square, NC, to parents Eugene Jacobs and Mallie Lassiter. She was one of six children: four sisters, Rebecca King, Kathy Ikpelue, and Barbara Jacobs (predeceased), and two brothers, Eugene Jacobs and Charles Jacobs.
On Palm Sunday, March 29, 2026, Garry passed away while caring for her ailing mom. Along with her husband Alejandro (Ale') Williams, she leaves behind her siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, god children and a host of loving friends.
A memorial service will be held June 27, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Lea Funeral Home Chapel, 2500 Poole Road, Raleigh, NC.
