Essie D. Ferguson, of Raleigh, NC departed this life on Saturday, July 25, 2020.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Lea Funeral Home Chapel, 2500 Poole Road, Raleigh, NC.

Visitation: 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM, preceding the funeral service at the chapel.

Interment: Carolina Biblical Gardens, Garner, NC.

Essie leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Tangelica “Brenda” Vanner of Raleigh; son, Howard Sheffield, Jr. of FL; sister, Annie Robinson of Andrews, SC; brother, John Dunmore of Charlotte; grandson, Kyree (Ismarie Vanner-Rosario); great-grandson, Nathan Vanner; great-granddaughter, Leahnis Vanner-Rosario of Fayetteville; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Dunmore of Durham, Lillie Mae Jackson and Dorothy Hauser both of Fayetteville.
