Elizabeth Mitchell Hayes of Raleigh, NC, preceded in death by her husband, James Hayes, departed this life on Monday, August 3, 2020.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Friday, August 7, 2020 at Lea Funeral Home Chapel, 2500 Poole Road, Raleigh, NC.

Visitation: 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM, preceding the funeral service at the chapel.

Interment: Pleasant Union Christian Church of North Raleigh Cemetery, Raleigh, NC.

Survivors: Daughter, Barbara Mitchell Leach; Grandson, Marshall D. Thorpe (Melanie), all of Raleigh, NC; Granddaughters, Yolanda Thorpe-Harris (Fontaine) and Michele Christian (deceased); Great-Grandchildren, Mariah Thorpe Walker (Antonio), Andala Harris, Savion Harris, Jasmine Johnson and Kaliya Thorpe; Son-in-law, Carey Christian of Raleigh, NC.
