Carolyn Langston Smith, of Raleigh, NC departed this life on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

Public Visitation: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Thursday, December 26, 2024 at Lea Funeral Home, 2500 Poole Road, Raleigh, NC

Funeral Service:  12:00 PM, Friday, December 27, 2024 at Lincoln Park Holiness Church, Raleigh, NC

Visitation:  11:30 AM -12:00 PM, preceding the service in the chapel.  

Interment: Carolina Biblical Gardens, Garner, NC

Carolyn leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and devotion. She is survived by her former husband, Roney L Smith, and their children, Rosalyn Smith-Dobbin (Nathaniel) and Katrina L. Smith. She was a proud grandmother to Joshua Dobbin and Zachary Dobbin.

Her surviving siblings include Dorethea Parker Brown of Goldsboro, NC; Louise Henderson of Knightdale, NC; Elmer Langston (May) of Richland, NC; Rosemary Williams of Wilson, NC; Youvette Langston of Fremont, NC; Devon Langston (Lisa) of Rocky Mount, NC; and Connie Langston Bullock (Alphonso) of Sharpsburg, NC; special nephew and godson, Linwood Morris (Stephanie); special cousins, Virginia Jones, Virginia Rasberry, and Dennis Dawson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
