Funeral Service:  12:00 PM, Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Baptist Grove Church, 7109 Leesville Road, Raleigh, NC.

Visitation:  11:30 AM - 12:00 PM, preceding the funeral service at the church.

Interment:  Baptist Grove Church Cemetery, Raleigh, NC.

Survivors:  Daughters, Tiffany Deanna Chavis, Jamie Carla Chavis, both of Morrisville, NC and Wendy Latrice Chavis of Garner, NC; Sisters, Lynda C. Crowder of Raleigh, NC, Kathy A. Johnson (Terrence) of Capital Heights, MD; Brother, Clarence E. Chavis "Smooke", Jr of Raleigh, NC; Grandchildren, Ashley S. Chavis, Tyren S. Chavis,  both of Garner, NC,  Cameron R. Chavis of Morrisville, NC; Mother of his children, Valia M. Chavis, nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives & friends.
