Brian D. Oakley, II

Shortly before noon on March 9th, 2025, Brian DeAlt Oakley II crossed Homeplate for the last time here on Earth.

Brian was the second child of Brian and Erika Oakley. Brian was the little brother of Brianna Jean Oakley.

He was born on October 21st of 2005. He began playing baseball at the age of 4 and never stopped until February 2025 as a Bruin.

Brian’s legacy includes being a grandson, cousin, nephew, friend and most of all a great son and brother.

His radiating smile, irresistible personality, competitive spirit (even with family games), and his big bear hugs made him one of the most unique people you will ever meet.

Brian’s presence will be deeply missed by his family, teammates, and friends. We will hold memories, moments, and will always consider ourselves blessed to have known a young man like Brian. Brian keep swinging for the fences - we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Celebration of Life:  2:00 PM, Sunday March 16, 2025, at Salem Baptist Church, 429 S. Broad St., Winston Salem, NC.
