Brenda (Joyner) McDougal of Raleigh, departed this life on Sunday, September 28, 2025, after a brave, brief and quiet cancer battle.

Celebration of Life: 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 5, 2025 at JC Raulston Arboretum, Boxwood Garden, 4415 Beryl Road, Raleigh, NC.

Survivors: Husband, Aaron McDougal of the home; Daughters, Keysha McDougal-Brown of Raleigh and Dee McDougal of Wake Forest. Grandchildren: Mekonde Brown, Joshua Adewusi, and Khamadi Brown, all of Raleigh. She is also survived by beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, colleagues and her cherished pup and grandpets.
