Bernard Kamara

Bernard Kamara was born in Nairobi, Kenya on 31st of March 1970. After graduating high school in 1989 he relocated to Athens Greece where he stayed until year 1999. He relocated to North Carolina USA in 2000 and worked for LOWES Home Improvements for 18 years where he retired.

He married Jane in 2000, and they were blessed with 3 daughters (Faith, Purity and Grace).Bro. Bernard has served the Lord in different capacities as board member of his church (UBRC), United Brethern Restoration Center, director men dept. (KCFA), Chairman of Margaret James 1:27 Foundation, and more so serving the larger Kenyan community in Raleigh through his acts and deeds.

He was promoted to Glory in the early morning of Sat. 15th Nov 2025 through a tragic road accident on I440 Beltline. His body lies at Lea Funeral home, viewing will be on Dec 5th 2025 at UBRC, United Brethern Restoration Center,  124 Luther Road. Raleigh NC 27610 from 1pm followed by the memorial that will run until 5pm. The funeral services will be on 10:00 AM, Sat, 6th Dec at, UBRC, United Brethern Restoration Center, 124 Luther Road. Raleigh NC 27610. He will be interred at Wake Memorial Park 7002 Green Hope School Road Cary NC 27519 at 2pm. A repass will follow at an address yet to be determined.
