Augustus Ivan Goodson Jr. of 9821 Poole Road, transitioned peacefully on Thursday, February 25, 2010. Funeral, Monday, March 1, 2010, 12:00 Noon, Good Hope Baptist Church, 4209 Smithfield Road, Knightdale. Interment, Carolina Biblical Gardens.

Survivors; wife, Dorothy Peebles Goodson of the home; sons, Augustus Ivan Goodson III (Clarice), Michael Powell Goodson (Lina) both of Wendell and Morris Peebles (Carolyn) of Raleigh; grandchildren, Shanel Monique Goodson, Miranda Darlene Goodson, Augustus Ivan "Gus" Goodson IV, Jerry Lewis Goodson, Sophelia Rose Goodson, Hannah Grace Goodson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
